What is the lifespan of DualSun panels?
DualSun solar panels are guaranteed to provide approximately 85% of their nominal photovoltaic power after 25 to 35 years of operation (depending on the panels).
The thermal part of the SPRING system, on the other hand, is guaranteed for 10 years.
As part of the European certifications, we conducted aging tests in which the DualSun panel underwent accelerated cycles of extreme temperatures and pressures to simulate the passage of time.
Furthermore, with the support of ADEME, DualSun went beyond the standards by subjecting the panels to even more rigorous test conditions. The test results demonstrate excellent resistance to aging for the DualSun panel.
The lifespan of solar panels is likely much longer, but we lack sufficient data to provide a more precise estimate. Solar panels are simple, reliable, and robust products designed to last over time.
At the end of their life, the panels are collected and recycled at a rate of 95%.
