Are DualSun panels compatible with the SolarEdge power optimizer?

Yes, DualSun FLASH panels are compatible with the SolarEdge power optimizer. But caution needs to be done while installing the optimizer. 

This compatibility check is valide for the model : SolarEdge S1200

Because of the thermal exchanger, the optimizer cannot be fixed to the frame of the panel. It can be attached to the mounting system (rails).

The optimizer can be fixed to the frame as well as on the mounting system. For the frame mounting a few cautious needs to be taken. 

The optimizers are mounted on the oblong mounting holes present on the frames of the DualSun panels and visible on the technical drawing available on our documentation area.

Thus, the optimizer is placed at 10±3 mm from the back of the laminate, which allows air to circulate to dissipate heat.

Special attention, the optimizer protrudes 4.7 mm from the surface of the frame:

The top of the rails must be at least 5 mm above the upper plane of the roof.

The rails of the installation systems must not interfere with the optimizer. 

It is important not to place the rails in the orange areas described below, D representing the position of the oblong where the optimizer will be installed.
