What installation systems are compatible with DualSun SPRING and FLASH panels?
DualSun FLASH and SPRING solar panels are compatible with a large number of roof installation systems. Also in terms of Technical Advice (ATEc in french) or New Technique Investigation (ETN in french), it is therefore advisable to refer to the certifications of the installation system on which the DualSun panels will be installed (ATEC, ETN, etc.).

DualSun panels have all the certificates necessary for installation in roof overlay :
IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certificates for the photovoltaic side,
Solar Keymark certificate for the thermal side.
It should be kept in mind that when they are installed on top of the roof, the panels do not in any way affect the waterproofing or the integrity of the building. They therefore do not fall within the definition of EPERS (Elements that can lead to joint and several liability (french term)).
Portrait or landscape installation?
DualSun Flash photovoltaic solar panels can be installed in portrait or landscape.
DualSun Spring hybrid solar panel can be installed in portrait or landscape, however it is not not self-draining in landscape mode (so it is not recommended to install SPRINGs in the landscape for a direct pool heating configuration).
Specifics when installing the SPRING panel
The SPRING panels include a heat exchanger and hydraulic connections on its hidden side. Certain precautions must therefore be taken into account when installing SPRING panels, the elevation of the panel in relation to the roof or certain constraints on the possible installation configurations with the hydraulic connections.

What is a New Technology Survey (ETN)?
In France, in order to provide construction stakeholders with reliable information on the integration into the structure and the durability of the processes, the control offices issue a New Technique Survey report (ETN).
In addition, the DualSun teams are very involved in developing the notion of “non-standard technique” for systems superimposed on the roof: it seems to us that all solar panels installed in this way should be considered as standard technique.
