Are Dualsun panels compatible with SOPRASOLAR FIX EVO and FIX EVO TILT mounting system?

Edited

Yes, and this compatibility has been attested for some of our products by an independent Control Board in France which has issued a New Technology Investigation (NTI) for some and a Technical notice (ATec) for others to confirm this.

The DualSun FLASH and SPRING panels are therefore compatible with SOPRASOLAR's FIX EVO and FIX EVO TILT system. A layout verification and a calculation note should be made by SOPRASOLAR to validate the use of the system on the project:

Hydraulic connections

The hydraulic connections can be attached to the modules or to the SOPRASOLAR FIX EVO TILT studs to prevent them from resting on the roof surface. Clips are delivered with the DualSun Inlet/Outlet connection kits to attach the hoses to the frame return of the SPRING modules.

The hydraulic transfer lines between the technical room and the Dualsun SPRING panel field are to be raised in the same way as the electrical cables and run in cable trays.

In order to facilitate the connection of the Dualsun hydraulic connections in landscape mode, it is recommended to install the DualSun SPRING modules on the SOPRASOLAR FIX EVO TILT system as follows:

When the junction box is positioned downwards:

Position the bottom of the panel 50 mm from the bottom of the small block bracket.

When the junction box is positioned upwards:

Position the top of the panel 50 mm from the top of the big block bracket.

The installation of SPRING 280 to 315 modules in landscape mode requires a few precautions:

In order to facilitate the connection of the Dualsun hydraulic connections in landscape mode, it is recommended to install the DualSun SPRING 280 to 315 modules on the SOPRASOLAR FIX EVO TILT system as follows:

  • Shift the modules as far as possible towards the lower studs if the junction box is on the right when looking at the front of the panel (within the limit of the positioning of the bracket on the frame).

  • Shift the modules as far as possible towards the upper studs if the junction box is on the left side of the front panel (within the limit of the positioning of the bracket on the frame).

The clamp may be at the frame limit, but the entire range of the clamp must be applied to the module, in accordance with the permissible mounting ranges in the "Dualsun SPRING Installation, Operation and Maintenance Instructions". This positioning does not affect the mechanical performance of the module.
