Are DualSun SPRING panels compatible with the Viessmann Vitocal 060-A T0S thermodynamic water heater?

Yes, DualSun SPRING hybrid panels can be paired with the Viessmann Vitocal 060-A T0S thermodynamic water heater.

 

For optimal coupling, it is recommended to schedule heating time slots by the thermodynamic group compatible with the customer's consumption habits and solar heating hours.

  • Showers in the evening: 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

  • Showers in the morning: 2 a.m. to 8 p.m.


The temperature sensor is to be installed in the thermowell as shown below:

The coupling between the solar regulation and the thermodynamic water heater intelligence is not possible because the electronic card of the water heater does not include the possibility of acquiring an external signal other than the full/off-peak signal of the network.

If, in order to ensure hot water comfort, the heating times should coincide with the hours of best sunshine, the activation of thermodynamic heating could reduce the solar heat input.
