Can the refrigerant from the heat pumps be circulated through the SPRING panels?

Edited

No, the refrigerant used in heat pumps cannot be circulated in SPRING panels.

The refrigerant cycles thermodynamically by absorbing heat at low temperature and low pressure and then releasing heat at higher temperature and higher pressure. This cycle is usually done with phase change.

However, Dualsun SPRING panels are designed to work with low pressure. See this article  for more details on this relaxation effect of Dualsun SPRING panels. This is not compatible with the operation of the refrigerant circuit.

In order to take advantage of the interesting solar thermal contribution of our SPRING panels, it is necessary to install an intermediate heat exchanger between the solar glycol water circuit and the thermodynamic refrigerant circuit.
