What is the difference between the non-insulated, insulated and finned versions of the SPRING panels?

Edited

We have three versions of our panel in our catalog:

  • SPRING3 and SPRING4 non insulated

  • SPRING3 and SPRING4 insulated

  • SPRING4 finned

Non insulated SPRING

The non-insulated version is adapted for low-temperature applications: for instance, coupling the panels to geothermal probes with a water-water heat pump (a system with an operational temperature of about 20°C) and direct pool heating (for SPRING3 only) (with an operating temperature of about 25-30°C).

Insulated SPRING

The insulated version of our panels is adapted for domestic hot water (DHW) with an operating temperature of about 50-60°C.

Finned SPRING

The finned version is designed for coupling with water to water heat pump and enable a better exchange with the ambient air.
