The Wave exchanger is composed of two 0,6 mm thick stainless steel plates welded together using an array of stamped pads which ensure a double function:
The rigidity of the exchanger
An even distribution of water circulating throughout the exchanger to avoid the formation of “hot spots”
This DualSun-specific design is protected by international patents.
The heat exchanger of the Wave panel is made of a grade of stainless steel whose expansion coefficient is very close to that of glass.
More precisely, it is the ferritic stainless steel KARA from APERAM.
